Facilities available to bank employees for participation in recognised sports/games as per BSB guidelines

Banks in their discretion grant following facilities to sportspersons who are in their service

I Special Leave

1. To those selected to represent.
a. a State in National Tournaments
b. the Country in International Tournaments
c. The Banks' Sports Board in any tournaments in India or abroad.
d. The employer bank in All India or Regional level Inter-Bank tournaments / Meets / Competitions organized under the aegis of BSB.
e. The employer bank in any State Level/All India Level/International Tournaments

The Sportspersons are eligible for Special Leave for the period of
§ `Actual Days' of participation in the event,
§ Pre-participation coaching/training camp, and
§ travel to and fro by the shortest/direct route.

2. To those selected as Sports Officials : as Referee, Umpire, Judge, Coach, Manager and for Scorer in Cricket, or as a Selector for inter-bank/BSB tournaments or as officials at any 'A' Grade All India Tournaments.

Special leave at the discretion of the bank not exceeding 30 days in a calendar year.

3. To those participating in Trekking and Mountaineering Expeditions organised/approved by the Indian Mountaineering Foundation or the Youth Hostels Association of India.

Maximum 30 days on any one occasion and not more than three occasions in the employees' entire service career, with a gap of atleast two years between two expeditions against certificate of participation
