Funding Microfinance:An Analysis of Emerging Financial Models
(held at IBA on 11th August 2005)

The Centre for Micro Finance Research at the Institute of Financial Management Research, Chennai has made an arrangement with Georgetown University McDonough School of Business at the behest of IBA and ICICI Bank to make a presentation of their study on Funding Microfinance: An Analysis of Emerging g Financial Models.

The presentations on various aspects of funding micro finance being practiced at various countries with specific reference to experience of United States were made by Brian Saal, Celeste Diaz-Ferraro, Javier Varela, John Gray, Kent Bonham AND Virginia McMullan at IBA Committee Room, World Trade Centre, Cuffe Parade, Mumbai - 400 005 on 11th August 2005. The participants of the programme were MFIs, senior officials of ICICI Bank and UTI Bank. The Research study mainly focused on Remittance Secutirisation, CDFI Financial Model and US Mortgage Securitisation Model.
