A delegation headed by His Excellency, Khalid Abdulla Al Bassam, Deputy Governor, Bahrain Monetary Agency visited IBA on 22nd December 2003. The other member of the delegation was Mr. Ahmed Jassim Bumtaia, Director of Economic Research, Bahrain Monetary Agency, Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain. The Agency wanted to understand the financial sector in India and explore the areas of co-operation in the banking and financial services sector. Mr. Ajay Sharma, Chief Representative Designate, Bahrain, of ICICI Bank was participated in the discussions His Excellency, Khalid Abdulla Al Bassam and Mr. Ahmed Jassim Bumtaia with the IBA officials.
